I believe that midwifery care should be available to all women. I also believe that our society and culture does not usually value things that are free or “cheap”. Your birth is more important than any other event in your life, so look at it as an investment in your child’s and family’s future. Homebirth proves to be much more affordable for low-risk women than hospital birth, and the rewards are priceless.For your convenience, I accept private insurance and offer payment plans, when requested. I also accept trade as partial payment. Speak to me about ideas to help raise funds for the only birth your child will ever have.
Homebirth Services:
Homebirth in Humboldt County goes for $3,000-4,000 and includes all your care, with the exception of some labs, birth supplies, and if needed, an ultrasound or additional consultation with other healthcare providers. If you need this fee to be lowered, we can work out an arrangement.Consultation fees: I charge $25-30 per hour, but as always, speak with me about any financial concerns.
Hospital doula fees: $700-800, sliding scale available, payment plan available.

Tree of Life Midwifery Services attends births in the following Humboldt County Communities: Arcata, Eureka, Bayside, Samoa, Manila, Kneeland, Ferndale, Fernbridge, Fortuna, Loleta, Table Bluff, Hydesville, Phillipsville, Scotia, Rio Dell, King Salmon, Fields Landing, Blue Lake, Glendale, Fieldbrook, Korbel, McKinleyville, Westhaven, Trinidad, Patrick’s Point, Willow Creek, and Orick.

Soy partera titulada (CPM) y licenciada (LM) en California. He trabajado con mucha gente de habla hispana y me gustaría extender mis servicios en el condado de Humboldt. Dichos servicios incluyen:
Acepto seguros médicos privados y planes de pago. Me dedico a ofrecer mis servicios a personas de bajos ingresos. Por el momento, no se puede utilizar el plan de Medi-Cal.
